Job Description 1 Regular Part-Time Position (20-29 hrs/week)
Must be available for work Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm or 9:00 am – 5:30 pm for five 8-hour shifts in a two week period or five 4-hour shifts in a one week period. May need to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed. Must be flexible with schedule changes in order to meet operational needs.Provides administrative support for technical areas of the company. Performs special project work as assigned.
Qualifications Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of business school or comparable work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.


  • Two years experience in an office setting performing secretarial or administrative duties preferred.
  • One year of public contact experience.
  • Experience as a facilitator and project manager preferred.
  • Laboratory experience preferred.


  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both in verbal and written form.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and with a team.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Typing/keying: 96% accuracy at 30 words per minute.
  • Intermediate personal computer skills, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and
    routine database activity. (Ex: emailing, creating letters, formatting data, using tables,
    inserting objects).
  • Working knowledge of general office equipment such as copiers, facsimile machines, etc.
  • Facilitation and project management skills preferred
