Founded in 1921, Straub Clinic & Hospital is a fully integrated nonprofit health care system with a 159-bed tertiary care hospital in Honolulu, a network of neighborhood clinics and a visiting specialist program that reaches throughout the state of Hawai‘i. With more than 300 employed or contracted physicians who are leaders in their fields, Straub provides its patients with expert diagnoses and treatments for more than 30 different medical specialties, including bone and joint, heart, cancer, endocrinology/diabetes, family medicine, gastroenterology, geriatric medicine, internal medicine, women’s health, vascular and urology. In the Otolaryngology department, our board-certified physicians specialize in the diagnosis, treatment and surgery of the ear, nose, throat and related structures of the head and neck. This team of professionals oversees patients with loss of hearing or balance; sinus troubles; injuries to the ears, nose or throat; cancer and tumors of the head and neck; infections and deformities of the ear, nose, throat or neck; and foreign bodies in the upper respiratory tract.
As an Audiologist, you will play a key role in helping the Hawai‘i Pacific Health hospitals and clinics provide life-changing care to inpatients and outpatients with hearing and related difficulties for at medical center locations and contract sites. Minimum Qualifications: Current Hawaii Audiology license. Current American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Certification. Current American Heart Association Heart Saver – AED CPR card. Three (3) years of clinical experience, appropriate to the patient population being served.
Preferred Qualifications: Doctorate in Audiology. One (1) year general audiology experience. Experience with Pediatric or Adult populations in a hospital setting.
