KFVE-TV (The Home Team), a Hawaii News Now station and home of premier local television events in Honolulu, Hawaii, has an immediate opening for a full-time, Digital Sales Coordinator to join our local sales team.


The ideal candidate is a highly-motivated, energetic self-starter. This position will serve as a key resource within the local sales team and will work cross-functionally with the Raycom Digital Media Team and third party digital vendors.

Job Responsibilities include:

  • Develop, write, and edit using HTML and JavaScript. Maintain overall visual look of website including digital advertisements, station sponsored digital media, videos, streaming special events and various website updates. Test links and content to ensure information is accurate, accessible, and user-friendly. Work with the General Manager, General Sales Manager, and Digital Sales Manager to organize KFVE’s weekly online promotional strategies.

  • Maintain local programming (adding & deleting show synopsis, schedule, times, etc.) daily. Work with Digital Sales Manager and Raycom Digital Media team to develop content-driven, event-driven, and cause-related engaging sales opportunities. Remove dated materials and contests, when completed.

  • Execute campaigns and creative development for all digital advertising, including but not limited to, posting to social media, creating digital campaign elements and digital contests, and content marketing and integration with the company website (landing pages, pixel tracking, etc.)

  • Maintain and grow K5 The Home Team’s social media presence, including but not limited to, writing social media posts and development/upkeep of content calendar. Work with Digital Sales Manager to execute Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and website platform sales opportunities.

  • Attend weekly Sales meetings. Provide management with weekly status of all projects. Provide monthly website data and special reports on request. Analyze website and observe other trends for sponsorship and promotional sales opportunities.

  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales support to Sales Team and ensure digital advertising campaigns sold are fulfilled. Work with Sales Assistant to ensure digital orders are entered and launched timely and accurately. Compile weekly digital pacing reports for active digital campaigns. Analyze and prepare monthly proof of performance reports for active digital campaigns.

Education: College experience preferred.

Experience: Successful internet development experience of 1-2 years. High level of artistic creativity. Strong writing skills and attention to detail. Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash Player. Ability to multitask and prioritize workflow in a fast paced, deadline-driven, team-oriented environment.
