Job Title: Medical Assistant - OBGYN
Location: Kauai Medical Clinic, Lihue, HI
Description:

Kaua‘i Medical Clinic combines the intimacy of a neighborhood clinic with the resources of Hawai‘i’s largest multi-specialty medical group. The clinic currently has 88 physicians and more than 20 medical specialties. It provides the majority of primary and secondary care to Kaua‘i’s residents, serving as the most comprehensive medical practice on the island. Combined with the resources and financial strength of Hawai‘i Pacific Health, a multi-hospital and medical group system, we offer the benefits of working within a group practice. The main clinic is located on our affiliated Wilcox Memorial Hospital campus, a modern 71-bed community hospital, and there are also three primary care satellite clinics in other locations around the island.

Clinic physicians are in every neighborhood in Kaua‘i to serve our island community. Obstetrical care includes pre-pregnancy counseling, medical, dietary and social service counseling, pregnancy testing, prenatal care and referral services including genetic counseling and fetal diagnostic services. Family planning services include annual physical exams, testing for sexually transmitted diseases and birth control methods. Gynecological services include routine exams, treatment for abnormal pap smears and STDs and evaluation for and scheduling of major and minor surgeries.

As the Medical Assistant, you will form part of the dedicated team of physicians and medical staff that provide the most caring, thorough health services to our patients and their families. In this role, you will perform a wide variety of patient care activities to clients of all ages. We are looking for someone detail-oriented and attentive, with strong communications and patient care skills and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.
