PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT INTERN 

Aloha! Roberts Hawaii is looking for a Product Development Intern for our Marketing Department. This person is responsible for creating new tours to supplement the Tour Aloha Mobile Application that would be used attractive to millennials on vacation from continental U.S. or Australia. This temporary position is intended to provide the student with on the job experience and add a diversified perspective to our tour products.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

 

  • Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher)
  • Skilled in the use of computers, adapts to new technology, keeps abreast of changes, learns new programs quickly, uses computers to improve productivity

 

Projects:

 

  • Research & Discovery- Research on tours of interest including details of inclusions, tour stops, vendors, routes, content. Meeting and seeking vendors who wish to participate.
  • Tour Design- Determine tour order, layout the flow, determine length of the tour
  • Delivery & Launch- Create a small ad campaign (video and/or photo) to promote the tour on social media platforms Working Conditions/ Job Environment:
  • Typing for long periods of time
  • Exposure to potential eye strain and muscle strain due to use of the computer
  • Sedentary work- able to lift 30+ pounds as necessary
